Despite the many short and narrow paths with steep descends this route is classified as diverse and moderatey tiring because of its relatively little kilometers of length. The needed efforts because of the uneven paths are rewarded with wonderful views onto the Oleftal and Dieffenbachtal.

Parking lots are available in Schleiden, Oberhausen, Blumenthal and the Raptor Center Hellenthal.
